Thermal Spray HVOF Coating

HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel) thermal spray coating produces a dense, low-porosity (<1%) coating with high bond strength (>10,000 psi) and a smooth sprayed surface (3–5 µmRa) — ideal where tungsten carbide and similar hard-facing coatings must survive heavy wear and hot corrosion.

Applications

Turbine runner components (Francis & Pelton), guide vanes and blades, landing gear, calender rolls, Kaplan blades, steam turbine components, crack shaft repair, sink roll, hydraulic piston rod, casing and impeller.

Size

Coating thickness and coverage area engineered to the component drawing and service duty.
